Legislation Update and Case Law

The introduction of new legislation in conjunction with case law, provide a challenge to all Companies seeking to do what is right.  Whilst new legislation is primarily introduced at the beginning of April and October of each year, and certainly warrants companies making themselves aware of the changes, there are on occasions other employment related legislation that is implemented outside those periods.

Equally, from time to time, Case Law and agreements made without Court Action can provide both an interesting insight into the application of the law in practise, and bring to life the implications if the application of the law is not put in to good working practices.
