Liz Edwards

Liz Edwards has been involved in people development for many years. She worked in both retailing and education before becoming a consultant where she has worked for a variety of organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors.

Since 1991 Liz has focused primarily on job change and core training and devlopment. Client organisations have ranged through housing groups (social landlord), publishing, PCTs, enterprize agencies, the CPS, the Prison Service, retailing, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, the utlities, childcare and the legal and insurance industries. She has worked with clients at all levels in organisations.

Recent Projects

Recent projects have included one-to-one work on all aspects of career and job change, designing and facilitating development programmes for all levels of people in organisations.  These include improving team performance and team development, communication and presentation skills, management and leadership skills.  A particular programme in which she has been heavily involved is a women’s entrepreneurial six-month programme funded by a charity in a London borough. This has been extremely successful since its inception in January 2008 and is going from strength to strength with participants receiving awards for innovation and fair trading.

Recent projects have included:

  • Supporting employees who have been made redundant helping them to develop the skills and market themselves for new roles
  • Implementing a new performance management system
  • Designing and facilitating workshops, weekend programmes and managing the mentors on a women’s entrepreneurial intervention
  • Designing and facilitating a range of workshops including interviewing and selection; report writing; dealing with difficult situations; communicating and influencing.
