Pauline Wilkes

Her interest in law encouraged her to study European Business Law in her ’spare time’, before undertaking a Masters in Business Administration.

Since then, her experience has been diverse, within both large and small to medium size enterprises. Roles have ranged from legal adviser, trainer and lecturer on a variety of legal, business and HR topics: Strategic Adviser to small and medium sized businesses with employment and HR specialism, helping businesses to grow more profitably.

Market sector experience has included the motor trade (Audi Volkswagen and MAN), the computer industry (ICL), education (The University of Luton), as well as smaller organisations ranging from light manufacturing, service industries and charitable organisations.

Pauline has represented and stood up for small and medium sized enterprises at meetings of the Better Regulation Task Force, where she has argued vociferously for the easing of the burden of legislation on small business. She served on the Board of Harlow & District Chamber of Commerce with a view to helping business development in the area.

As Managing Partner of Fitzpatrick Wilkes she is committed to providing Business Improvement Services to organisations, and within her own areas of specialism, providing advice - including HR and Employment Law - in a practical, easy to implement manner, and has assisted companies in major turnaround.
